Tuffy Limited Lifetime Warranty

At Tuffy Security Products, we take great pride in the durability of our products, which are designed to provide a lifetime of service. We stand firmly behind our products with a Limited Lifetime Warranty that covers defects in material and workmanship, excluding the coating, as long as they are used under normal conditions by the original purchaser.

This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser of the product.

Additionally, our aluminum products come with a one-year warranty from the date of purchase by the original owner.

Our warranty does not cover the following:

• Rusting, coating issues, or costs associated with installation, service, or downtime
• Material, labor, or parts needed for the repair or replacement of damage, malfunctions, or service failures resulting from abuse (such as fire or wreckage), misuse, neglect, or failure to adhere to the manufacturer’s instructions
• Repairs made or attempted by unauthorized individuals
• Any claims for incidental or consequential damages due to any warranty breaches
• Products used for unintended applications
• Products purchased from auction-style or bid-based websites, even if advertised as new or unopened (e.g., eBay, Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist)
• Closeout and open-box items purchased from third parties
• Special orders and custom products

Tuffy Security Products is only responsible for replacing or repairing materials that we determine to be defective, at our sole discretion. We cannot accept any additional liability beyond this. We expressly disclaim all other warranties, both express and implied, and do not provide any implied warranty of fitness for a particular purpose unless explicitly agreed to by Tuffy Security Products.

How to File a Warranty Claim

Step 1: Make sure your product is registered. Warranty claims can only be filed against a registered Tuffy product. Not registered yet? Register your product → It only takes a minute. Already registered? Continue to Step 2.

Step 2: Take your photos before you start the form. You’ll attach them directly to the form, so it helps to have them ready. You can upload up to 8:

• The product installed in the vehicle, with enough of the interior in frame to show how it’s mounted.
• A close-up of the problem.
• The lock and latch, with the key in frame.
• Every point where the unit bolts or brackets to the vehicle.
• The part or serial label on the unit, if it has one.

Step 3: Fill out the form below. You’ll choose your registered product, tell us what went wrong, and attach your photos. No receipt needed here — we have it from your registration.

Step 4: Check your confirmation email. Right after you submit, you’ll get an automated email with your case number. Keep it. You don’t need to send anything else — reply to that email only if you’d like a replacement shipped to a different address than the one you registered with, or if you have more than 8 photos to send.

 

What happens next: our team will review your claim and contact you by email.

 

Before you file, one thing worth knowing: the Limited Lifetime Warranty covers defects in material and workmanship, but not the coating, and not rust.
