CORTEZ, Colo. – Tuffy Security Products will be exhibiting at the 10th annual Overland Expo West in Flagstaff, Arizona on May 17-19, 2019. TUFFY SECURITY PRODUCTS NOW OFFERS SECURITY TAILGATE LOCKBOX FOR JEEP® WRANGLER JK MODELS

CORTEZ, Colo. – Tuffy Security Products has retrofitted their groundbreaking tailgate security lockbox to fit the 2007 to 2018 Jeep® Wrangler JK and JKU models. Following the success of the Model 349 tailgate lockbox created for the Jeep Wrangler JL and JLU, Tuffy listened to customer feedback to create the new Model 359.

Comprised of welded 16 gauge steel, the Model 359 features the company’s exclusive 10 tumbler double bitted lock with built-in weather seals and their patented Pry-Guard locking system with 1/8-inch thick welded steel components. The weather resistant lid design incorporates an exclusive Pin-Lock hinging system. When open to reveal the contents, the door becomes a shelf which supports up to 40 pounds. Inside the lockbox are two removable trays to help Jeep owners organize their gear. Each tailgate lockbox receives a durable powder coat finish. Mounting hardware is provided and the tailgate lockbox can be installed using only hand tools.

TUFFY SECURITY PRODUCTS RELEASES NEW DECK ENCLOSURE MODELS FOR THE JEEP® WRANGLER JL

CORTEZ, Colo. – Tuffy Security Products has developed two new security deck enclosures specifically designed for the 2018 Jeep® Wrangler JL. The new Model 345 and 351 enclosures create a large lockable trunk space inside the JL.

This patented security deck enclosure’s lid secures shut using the company’s proprietary security system which works in conjunction with the Jeep JL’s locking tailgate. When the lid is closed, and the vehicle’s rear door is shut, both models are locked and secure. Using the attached support rod, the lid can be propped open to store items, and the lid, vertical front and side panels can all be easily removed to transport larger items when necessary. The Model 345 and 351 do not rely on the wheel well to create the enclosed space, thus adding an additional level of security while still providing more than 20,000 cubic inches of storage space.

Tuffy’s Model 345 and 351 are comprised of heavy duty 16-gauge welded steel to be sturdy, but the units are easily installed using only hand tools in the four door Wrangler JL with or without the OEM hardtop. Simply attach the mounting brackets to the OEM mounting points in the cargo area floor. The enclosure remains secure through the tailgate’s lock which utilizes the vehicle’s key fob to lock or automatically becomes disabled after 16 seconds. Items stored on top of the unit can be secured to the Model 345 or 351 using Tuffy’s anchor rails, which are sold separately.

While both models will accommodate the rear cargo storage cover, the Model 351 accommodates the Jeep Wrangler JL’s original equipment Alpine subwoofer option.

TUFFY SECURITY PRODUCTS ADDS NEW TAILGATE LOCKBOX TO ITS JEEP® WRANGLER JL OFFERINGS

CORTEZ, Colo. – Tuffy Security Products has expanded its line of Jeep® Wrangler JL products to include the Model 349, a heavy duty, high security tailgate lockbox. The new product mounts directly to the interior of the Jeep JL’s tailgate using the tailgate rail mounts, allowing JL owners to have added secure storage of their gear.

Crafted from welded 16-gauge steel, the Model 349 comes equipped with two removable shelves so JL owners can organize smaller items on the shelves when installed as well as a door which folds down to create a work table that supports up to 40 pounds. Tuffy Security incorporated the work table feature for those Jeepers who cook or work while off-roading as well as to enable quick sorting and access to the contents of the lockbox. Measuring six inches deep, 33.6 inches wide and 14.5 inches tall, the lockbox has more than 2,700 cubic inches of secure storage and works with or without the OEM hardtop. Because the Model 349 affixes to the tailgate, the lockbox works in conjunction with the Model 345 Jeep JL Deck Enclosure offered by Tuffy as well.

CORTEZ, Colo. – Tuffy Security Products has created a rear under seat lockbox specifically designed to fit 2019 GMC Sierra and Chevy Silverado Crew Cab and Double Cab pickup trucks. Featuring a formfitting design, the lockbox is concealed from view when the 60/40 split bench seats are lowered.

The Model 352 is comprised of 16 gauge powder coated welded steel and uses Tuffy’s patented Pry-Guard locking system with 1/8-inch welded steel components and has chamfered edges. Pry-Guard technology has a 10 tumbler double bitted security lock with built-in weather seals to protect the content of the box. A weather-resistant lid has an exclusive hinging system with a built-in lid stop that supports the lid when open.

Tuffy’s Model 352 installs easily with the included mounting hardware which works in conjunctions with the OEM hardware and does not require any drilling. The design allows for quick removal using the innovative mounting system which can only be accessed from inside the lockbox.
