NEW TUFFY SECURITY CONSOLE SAFE ADDS SAFE STORAGE TO 2019+ CHEVY SILVERADO AND GMC SIERRA TRUCKS

CORTEZ, Colo. – Tuffy Security Products has expanded its popular line of center console safes with its Model 356 for 2019 and later Chevy Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500 pickup trucks. The Security Console Safe transforms the OEM console into a heavy-duty lockable safe that provides security, style and convenience for protecting valuables.

Tuffy’s Model 356 Security Console Safe turns the center console of these working trucks into a convenient and break-in resistant safe that offers over 500 cubic inches of lockable storage while maintaining access to all auxiliary ports for easy connectivity. To protect against theft, the safe features a welded 16-gauge steel construction and Tuffy’s Pry-Guard locking system that is made of 1/8-inch thick welded steel components.

The Security Console Safe adds tamper-resistant security with its exclusive 10-tumbler double-bitted lock with built-in weather seals in a design that is hidden from view. The innovative functionality of the Tuffy Security Console Safe incorporates an exclusive lid-support pin-lock hinging system that keeps the console lid open while items are retrieved.

Designed for easy drill-free installation, the console safe is sold with all necessary mounting hardware. When installed, the Model 356 Security Console Safe is fully integrated and concealed to maintain the truck’s stock look. The attractive and durable black texture powder coat finish and weather-resistant lid are built to last the lifetime of the truck.

TUFFY SECURITY PRODUCTS EXPANDS SECURITY CONSOLE SAFE PRODUCT LINE WITH NEW MODEL 354 FOR 2019 RAM

CORTEZ, Colo. – Tuffy Security Products has expanded their security console safe product line with a new model for 2019 Dodge RAM pickup trucks, part 354. As part of the continuously growing product line, the new RAM Security Console Safe is concealed under the OEM sliding tray.

Constructed of 16-gauge steel with a durable texture powder coat finish, the Model 354 slides directly into the existing OEM console. Model 354 console safes come equipped with Tuffy’s patented Pry-Guard locking system which consists of a 10 tumbler double bitted security lock and accompanying key. Pry-Guard locking system components are made of 1/8-inch thick welded steel. The key can only be removed when the console is locked and must be removed in order to slide the OEM tray backward. A Pin-Lock hinge design adds to the security of the console safe.

Incorporated into the design is an exclusive lid support feature which allows the lid to stay open while reaching into the console which features more than 400 cubic inches of lockable storage space. Console safes have built-in weather seals as well as a weather resistant lid design. Each console safe requires minor drilling for a secure installation, and mounting hardware is included.

The Model 354 is not compatible with 2019 RAM trucks which have sliding trays with cup holders that have lids, which are typically seen on Longhorn and Limited trims.

TUFFY SECURITY PRODUCTS TO EXHIBIT AT OVERLAND EXPO WEST 2019

CORTEZ, Colo. – Tuffy Security Products will be exhibiting at the 10th annual Overland Expo West in Flagstaff, Arizona on May 17-19, 2019. TUFFY SECURITY PRODUCTS NOW OFFERS SECURITY TAILGATE LOCKBOX FOR JEEP® WRANGLER JK MODELS

CORTEZ, Colo. – Tuffy Security Products has retrofitted their groundbreaking tailgate security lockbox to fit the 2007 to 2018 Jeep® Wrangler JK and JKU models. Following the success of the Model 349 tailgate lockbox created for the Jeep Wrangler JL and JLU, Tuffy listened to customer feedback to create the new Model 359.

Comprised of welded 16 gauge steel, the Model 359 features the company’s exclusive 10 tumbler double bitted lock with built-in weather seals and their patented Pry-Guard locking system with 1/8-inch thick welded steel components. The weather resistant lid design incorporates an exclusive Pin-Lock hinging system. When open to reveal the contents, the door becomes a shelf which supports up to 40 pounds. Inside the lockbox are two removable trays to help Jeep owners organize their gear. Each tailgate lockbox receives a durable powder coat finish. Mounting hardware is provided and the tailgate lockbox can be installed using only hand tools.

“The reception the Model 349 received was incredible,” said Chip Olson, marketing director for Tuffy Security Products. “This is obviously something Jeep Wrangler owners wanted, and so we knew that we needed to create a new version for the Wrangler JK and JKU after so many Wrangler JL and JLU owners found it so useful.”
