TUFFY SECURITY PRODUCTS INTRODUCES MODEL 343 UNDER REAR SEAT LOCKBOX FOR CHEVY COLORADO/GMC CANYON

CORTEZ, Colo. – Tuffy Security Products has unveiled its Model 343 Under Rear Seat Lockbox for 2014 to current Chevy Colorado/ GMC Canyon Crew Cab pickup trucks. The Model 343 is a full width formfitting lockbox designed to mount under the three rear seats of the pickup.
Comprised of powder coated 16 gauge steel, the security lockbox features more than 2,100 cubic inches of storage space which is further protected by Tuffy’s patented Pry-Guard locking system with a 10 tumbler double bitted security lock. Tuffy Security also incorporates an exclusive hinging system and built-in weather seals to further protect the contents of the box. Concealed neatly and completely under the rear seats, the lockbox is accessed by flipping either or both the rear seats up and opening one or both lids. The lid under the single seat has a center lock while the lid under the double seat has two locks.
The Model 343 mounts into the vehicle by fastening to the original OEM hardware and does not require any drilling. Basic hand tools are used to secure the lockbox into the pickup.

TUFFY SECURITY DEBUTS FORD F-SERIES SUPERCREW PICKUP UNDERSEAT SECURITY LOCKBOX

CORTEZ, Colo. – Tuffy Security Products now offers a high security lockbox created to fit under the rear bench seat of 2015 to 2018 Ford F-Series SuperCrew pickup trucks. The Model 344 is the second in the company’s line of lockboxes designed to fit under the 60-percent rear bench seats of crew cab pickups.
Featuring more than 3,800 cubic inches of lockable storage protected by the company’s patented Pry-Guard locking system and two 10-tumbler double bitted locks, the Model 344 is crafted to be easily hidden under the seats with chamfered corners while also providing plenty of room to store firearms or other valuables. Further protecting the stored items is the 16-gauge steel which comprises the box and an optional three-digit combination lock for keyless entry.
Lockboxes which fit under all three rear seats limit the driver’s ability to haul taller items in the backseat or utilize the optional OEM subwoofer. By creating a lockbox which fits under just two of the seats, Tuffy leaves the rear passenger single seat free to be lifted so taller items can be transported when needed or leave that space available for a subwoofer.
“Customers asked us to create a smaller underseat lockbox for several different models. At Tuffy, we recognize that pickup products are not one-size-fits-all, so we created the Model 344 specifically for the Ford F-Series SuperCrew pickups,” said Chip Olson, marketing director for Tuffy Security Products. “The Model 344 joins the Model 340 which was designed to fit 2007 to 2018 Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra crew cab trucks, and we’re currently developing a model for Toyota trucks as well.”
Fitting under the driver’s side and middle rear seats of the pickup, the lockbox is secured to the vehicle using the company’s innovative mounting system which is accessed from inside the box itself. Model 344 lockboxes include the mounting system which consists of two 16-gauge steel brackets which attach to the back of the box and extend under the seat to the rear of the vehicle. The no-drill installation uses the vehicle’s factory hardware and can be secured to the pickup in under 15 minutes. Simply unlock the box and use the wing knob nuts to install or remove the box.

TUFFY RELEASES TWO NEW SECURITY OPTIONS FOR JEEP® JL

CORTEZ, Colo. – Tuffy Security Products has released two brand new products specifically designed for the 2018 Jeep® Wrangler JL: the 345 Security Deck Enclosure and the 348 Security Console Safe. Both products incorporate Tuffy’s tried and tested security engineering to protect JL customers from becoming victims of theft when away from the vehicle.
Tuffy’s patent-pending Security Security Console Insert fits both two and four-door JL models and requires no drilling to install. The console insert keeps the lid open while accessing the contents because of its exclusive lid support yet is fully hidden when the lid is closed. Crafted from welded 16-gauge steel, the insert features Tuffy’s patented Pry-Guard locking system which utilizes a 10 tumbler double bitted lock with built-in weather seals and a convenient finger pull to open the box. The powder-coated insert maintains the use of the factory armrest, interior tray, optional light and lid, making it an innovative security product that allows users to not lose any storage room.
With more than 20,000 cubic inches of storage, Tuffy’s Security Deck Enclosure is specifically produced to fit into the rear of the Jeep JL and provides a large lockable area using the company’s patented security system. Working in conjunction with the vehicle’s rear door, the Security Deck Enclosure closes off the open rear of the Jeep to protect contents from all sides, creating a secure trunk area. Power lock switches on the tailgate become disabled 16 seconds after locking the doors with the key fob to ensure the area is protected. The 16-gauge steel weight-bearing enclosure can support items placed on top of it and is easily lifted and removed without tools. In addition, the welded steel lid hinges open and can be held up using the attached support rod. Security Deck Enclosures include built-in weather seals and are fastened to the vehicle without drilling using heavy duty fasteners.

TUFFY SECURITY PRODUCTS RELEASES 2007-2018 CHEVY SILVERADO, GMC SIERRA CREW CAB REAR SEAT LOCKBOX

CORTEZ, Colo. – Tuffy Security Products has released a new high-security lockbox specially designed to fit under the rear bench seat of 2007 to 2018 Chevy Silverado Crew Cab and GMC Sierra Crew Cab pickups. The company is currently designing the lockbox to fit under the 60-percent rear seats of Ford F-150 trucks as well.
Tuffy’s new Model 340 offers 2,100 cubic inches of storage and fits under the driver’s side and middle rear seats of the pickup, leaving some space available under the rear passenger side seat. Items 35 inches and shorter fit into the box with ease. Each lockbox is comprised of powder-coated 16-gauge welded steel and features chamfered corners to allow easier passenger access and a more concealed form. Model 340 lockboxes can also be customized by users with optional foam lining inserts.
The company’s patented Pry-Guard locking technology protects the contents of the box from would-be thieves. Its 10-tumbler double-bitted locks can be opened from either side of the vehicle.

Tuffy’s Model 340 is installed without drilling by fastening to the original equipment seat bolts using the included mounting system comprised of two 16-gauge steel brackets which affix to the back of the box and extend to the rear of the vehicle under the seat. The innovative mounting system developed by Tuffy Security Products allows users to remove the box from the vehicle from inside the box itself when unlocked by using the wing knob nuts.
