Hood Lock

"It was just what I was looking for. Its nice to know my jeep is secure. I like Tuffy products. I have others as well. A high quality company with high quality and affordable products."

— Marcus W. (5/5)

Cheap Insurance against Theft

"This is my second hood lock as the first one wore out after about 7-8 years. Installs easily and definitely helps control hood flutter at highway speeds while increasing the complexity of stealing the battery or aftermarket parts. It comes with 2 keys and the only additional purchase I made was the camlok dust cover which is a must since all the road grime thrown from vehicle tires will hit the keyway opening and potentially interfere with the keyway access and operation. Use a good teflon based lube to keep this operating smoothly, not a penetrating oil like WD-40 which evaporates quickly and does not provide long term lubrication. My Jeep is a 2010 Wrangler Islander 2-DR with a 6M transmission. Highly recommend this simple but effective lock system!"

YJ and JKU hood locks. Bought one of each.

"Works well and keeps mods and my new Chevy 350 engine, under the hood safe."

DESCRIPTION

This heavy duty locking cubby cover replaces the existing flimsy cover from the factory. Constructed from 16 gauge and 1/8 inch thick welded steel. It creates secure storage in the hidden floor compartment which is ideal for securing valuable tools and gear. The unique design features our Pry-Guard locking system with 1/8 inch thick steel components and a welded continuous steel hinge. The lid also provides a sturdier and more durable deck surface for items placed on top.
