"This safe fits PERFECTLY. What a great design. I didn’t even have to cut or modify the rubber mat. (Of course it may vary for you) but this thing is solid! Would definitely recommend. I just wish it was a tad bit cheaper! But, you get what you pay for!"

Awesome safe

"I love this safe in my 2021 Ram 1500 Bighorn! Since you’ll be carefully drilling tiny holes into the interior of your truck console it’s worth reading the instructions a couple of times over before you start. Once you start the process it’s not difficult at all. Once installed this thing is very cool. I have a S&W Shield Plus 9mm that I carry daily IWB with a kydex/leather holster and it fits in here perfectly still holstered. I also keep a couple hundred dollars cash in a tiny container for emergency gas money in the safe as well. It is such a peace of mind to have a secure safe like this at all times. I do have one complaint, however: The lid rattles slightly when going over road bumps. I’ve had the safe installed for about 3 months and the last month or so I’ve heard this rattling noise from *somewhere* in the truck. I’ve tried to figure out what the noise was until it dawned on me that it could be the safe. While driving I lifted up the the center console and sure enough, as soon as I hit some bad roads I heard that noise again and it was indeed the lid rattling. I think I’ll have to look for a bit of foam or felt padding and try and wedge it in between the lid and the safe to stop the noise. Other than that noise, this thing is perfect."

DESCRIPTION

Built for 2019-2027 RAM trucks with a full-length floor console, the RAM console safe drops inside your factory console and stays completely concealed. It does not fit RAM Longhorn, Limited, or TRX trims. The safe turns your OEM console into over 400 cubic inches of lockable, vehicle-specific steel storage, and the factory sliding tray still works. The embossed lock sits flush with the lid for a clean, factory look. Security comes from the Pry-Guard locking system and its 10-tumbler double-bitted key, built with 1/8-inch thick welded steel components. The key pulls out only when the safe is locked, and it must be removed to slide the OEM tray back. The body is heavy-duty cold-rolled welded steel with a durable texture powder-coat finish. An exclusive lid support holds the lid open for easy one-handed access. Mounting hardware is included, and installation takes basic hand tools with minor drilling required. It measures 12.5''W x 9.25''D x 5.375''H. Part of Tuffy's line of console safes for trucks and SUVs and backed by the Built-for-Life warranty and secure vehicle storage since 1989, it lets you lock it and walk away.
