The Universal Series II is a full center console, not an insert. It turns the open space between your seats into a heavy-duty, lockable universal center console safe with a padded armrest. The 8'' model (SKU 012-01) opens to a cavernous compartment for tools, electronics, phones, and other valuables.

Security starts with the patented Pry-Guard II locking system and an anti-twist push-button lock. A 10-tumbler double-bitted key with built-in weather seals keeps entry mechanical and battery-free, so nothing loses power in extreme heat or cold. Welded steel construction and a welded steel striker hold the compartment shut.

The push-button latch stays closed without being locked, so it works as an everyday armrest console. Marine-grade vinyl pads the armrest, oversized drink holders use anti-rattle rubber fingers, and a removable storage tray and rubber floor mat come included.

The console floor-mounts with the included Grade 8 hardware and requires drilling three holes for a solid, permanent anchor.
