CORTEZ, Colo. – Tuffy Security Products has added to its Jeep® product line with a new Security Console Safe for the Gladiator JT pickup (Model #348-01).

          The safe maintains the stock look of the Gladiator’s original center console by installing easily inside it, without the need for drilling. It is constructed of welded steel and wears a durable, black textured powder-coated finish.

          Tuffy’s innovative, patent-pending safe design allows the full use of the armrest, interior tray, factory USB port and even the optional light kit and lid. Additionally, the safe’s lid has a built-in weather seal to keep out the elements, along with a convenient finger pull. An exclusive lid support feature keeps the lid in the open position, while an integrated bump stop feature slowly closes the lid safely.

          And when it comes to security, Tuffy’s Pry-Guard locking system and 10-tumbler double-bitted lock is pick-resistant.

TUFFY SECURITY PRODUCTS’ NEW JEEP® GLADIATOR PICKUP BED  PRODUCT EARNS TWO SEMA SHOW AWARDS

CORTEZ, Colo. – Tuffy Security Products has returned from the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) trade show in Las Vegas with two prestigious awards for its new Jeep® Gladiator pickup bed storage organizer system.

It was named runner-up for the Best New Van/Pickup/SUV Product presented by SEMA; and SEMA’s Truck & Off-Road Association (TORA) bestowed its Light Truck Product Award on the system, which helps keep gear organized and out of sight.

“It’s a great honor to be recognized for this innovative, new product,” said Chip Olson, Tuffy Security Products Marketing Manager. “Our organization is continually looking at ways to improve the ownership experience of new vehicles, with thoughtfully integrated products that deliver form and function with OE levels of fit and finish – and that’s exactly what our new Jeep Gladiator bed storage organizer system delivers.”

The system features long, strong steel compartments installed along both sides of the pickup bed, comprised of three separate lids with dividers, allowing outdoor adventure gear and other items to be stowed and organized out of the elements. These Tuffy lockboxes are manufactured with 16-gauge, 1/8-inch-thick welded steel and the bin lids are covered with a sturdy, lightweight composite material for weather resistance. The lids also include pushbutton locks that allow latching without having to lock them with a key. Additionally, with the Gladiator’s lower bed height, the lockboxes can easily be accessed from the exterior of the bed, while allowing the use of factory bed lights, as well as the optional 110-volt power point. Multiple BullRing® tie downs are affixed to the side of the lockboxes, so the included nylon net can be used to secure larger gear in the pickup bed.

An optional, folding Bestop soft tonneau cover fits securely between the Tuffy lockboxes to protect and secure items in the bed. When closed, the storage organizer system has a flat, finished tonneau appearance. No drilling is required and the combination compartment/tonneau is easy to install.

“We received very positive feedback on the product from both buyers as well as members of the media at the show,” stated Olson. “Our engineering team worked diligently for months to create just the right combination of useful storage space to help Jeep Gladiator owners keep the inside of the cab clean, while being able to organize their gear in the pickup’s bed.”

TUFFY SECURITY INTRODUCES NEW SECURITY CONSOLE SAFE FOR JEEP® JL

Designed to fit neatly inside the stock center console, the Model 348 also joins the long line of security console safes Tuffy Security has been producing since 1997.

Maintaining the stock look of the center console, the Model 348 installs directly into the OEM console without drilling or removing the console itself. The innovative design allows users to retain the full use of the armrest, interior tray, optional light and lid. TUFFY RELEASES TWO NEW SECURITY OPTIONS FOR JEEP® JL

CORTEZ, Colo. – Tuffy Security Products has released two brand new products specifically designed for the 2018 Jeep® Wrangler JL: the 345 Security Deck Enclosure and the 348 Security Console Safe. Both products incorporate Tuffy’s tried and tested security engineering to protect JL customers from becoming victims of theft when away from the vehicle.

Tuffy’s patent-pending Security Security Console Insert fits both two and four-door JL models and requires no drilling to install. The console insert keeps the lid open while accessing the contents because of its exclusive lid support yet is fully hidden when the lid is closed. Crafted from welded 16-gauge steel, the insert features Tuffy’s patented Pry-Guard locking system which utilizes a 10 tumbler double bitted lock with built-in weather seals and a convenient finger pull to open the box. The powder-coated insert maintains the use of the factory armrest, interior tray, optional light and lid, making it an innovative security product that allows users to not lose any storage room.

With more than 20,000 cubic inches of storage, Tuffy’s Security Deck Enclosure is specifically produced to fit into the rear of the Jeep JL and provides a large lockable area using the company’s patented security system. Working in conjunction with the vehicle’s rear door, the Security Deck Enclosure closes off the open rear of the Jeep to protect contents from all sides, creating a secure trunk area. Power lock switches on the tailgate become disabled 16 seconds after locking the doors with the key fob to ensure the area is protected. The 16-gauge steel weight-bearing enclosure can support items placed on top of it and is easily lifted and removed without tools. In addition, the welded steel lid hinges open and can be held up using the attached support rod. Security Deck Enclosures include built-in weather seals and are fastened to the vehicle without drilling using heavy duty fasteners.
