The welded steel enclosure secures shut when you lock the rear tailgate. Factory power-lock switches on the tailgate disable roughly 16 seconds after you lock with the key fob, keeping the cargo secured like a trunk. It installs to existing OEM floor mounting points with basic hand tools and no drilling, and includes all mounting hardware.
