Solid box for the price point.

"I've read the other reviews and can agree that the fitment isn't 100% perfect. I used a die grinder and created a better matching hole set for the bolt, washer and airplane nut assembly installed to the passenger side c-pillar. Instructions are in fact terrible but with some know how and prior experience it is very doable in an afternoon. My panels were not bent and only had light scratching on them. I also have a Ford tailgate table and it fit seamlessly. Perhaps it is the aftermarket tables that don't sync up well? I am not planning to sleep in my bronco and am not planning to haul long objects. My use case is roof off all summer with my recovery gear secured. This gets it done well. After a 30 min test drive my rig seemed quieter with what appears more sound dampening for all the cargo inside the box. Last thing I'd say is that I installed this on a '24 Braptor and the lid will only open several inches due to the extra strut/roll bar but I can't say I'm too bothered by that and my gear access is fine. Overall I'd recommend the product and would buy again."

"I too couldnt line up the holes and only used 3 of the 4 bolts for the forward panels and it was the driver side for me as well. I am able to use my cargo mat but it is folded on the edges which isn’t a big deal to me. My biggest issue is that I use a top lift for my hardtop and well you can’t access the cargo area with this enclosure. So I don’t keep the lid secured and therefore the pneumatic lift has been removed as well so I can take the lid off and remove my hardtop. If you want to remove the whole enclosure you have to take at least one side of it apart. Going to get the diabolical enclosure and sell this one as it will be better suited for my setup. If you have a soft top then this is the best bang for your buck without a doubt."

Not really worth it

"Out of the box, parts were scratched up pretty bad (through the powder coating) and the thinner molle side panels were bent in several places. Just wasn't packaged well - they used lots of bubble wrap but they were sheets placed between parts instead of wrapping them. You could tell everything shifted and slip around in the box causing the damage. The other issue was the install. If you are halfway capable you can deal with the poor instructions, so I didn't find that much of a problem but I can see how a person could have issues that way. My problem was with holes lining up, primarily on the back panel. These were a pain, especially given that you are lining up several parts at once with zero clearance on a couple of the nuts to get a socket on it for tightening. Overall it seems like a decent enclosure if you can get over the fitment issues... and for me the scratches, and bending parts back into shape. However, at the price-tag on this I was expecting better quality and attention to detail. *Also something to note. If you have or plan to use a tailgate table, this will Not fit. I modified mine by removing some of the overlapping metal from the lid."

Great Design but Horrible instructions and assembly

"While the box is great and does what it is intended to do. There are a few major flaws that I came across. The first is the directions are basically worthless. Other than letting you know what parts to use it is better to find a 3rd party video online and follow along. Second, a few of the holes did not line up on the bracket that connects the back panel to the side panel which is beyond frustrating. I ended up using only three bolts on the back panel and will have to find a smaller bolt as the bottom holes on the driver side do not align, no matter how hard I "squeeze" everything together. Lastly, and by far the most frustrating is the lid does not close square, which means that every time I need to close the lid I have to push the side panels one at a time and square up the lid to get it to close. I worry that over time this will wear on the paint/powder coat and will expose the raw metal. I am debating sending it back but don't even know how at this point as I unfortunately made the mistake of throwing the box away. And the last issue that is a bummer is the cargo mat that I purchased from Ford does not fit without cutting it. Which I did, but I don't like paying $150 bucks for a cargo mat and then having to cut the sides and the tie downs out. Overall, I am glad I will be able to drive around and have a secure place to place things with the top is off, but all in all I am pretty disappointed in the experience with installing it and the final fit (particularly the lid closure, which as I mentioned does not seem to close."

DESCRIPTION

The Deluxe Cargo Enclosure is licensed by Ford for the 2021-2027 Bronco 4-door and works with or without the OEM hard or soft top. It does not fit the 2-door model. The open-air Bronco leaves its rear cargo area exposed, and this welded cold-rolled steel enclosure keeps your cargo covered and secured. Once the Bronco's tailgate is locked, the rear area is locked down like a trunk. The lid stays shut with heavy-duty steel cam latches, and the cargo area locks with the factory tailgate. It does not rely on the wheel well to form the enclosure, so the full storage box is welded steel. Installation needs no drilling: the brackets fasten to your Bronco's existing OEM floor mounting points with standard hand tools. Take the top off, drop the doors, and come back to locked gear. To round out the build, pair it with a Ford Bronco cargo drawer or a Bronco tailgate table. Built for life and backed since 1989.
