TUFFY SECURITY DEBUTS FORD F-SERIES SUPERCREW PICKUP UNDERSEAT SECURITY LOCKBOX

CORTEZ, Colo. – Tuffy Security Products now offers a high security lockbox created to fit under the rear bench seat of 2015 to 2018 Ford F-Series SuperCrew pickup trucks. The Model 344 is the second in the company’s line of lockboxes designed to fit under the 60-percent rear bench seats of crew cab pickups.

Featuring more than 3,800 cubic inches of lockable storage protected by the company’s patented Pry-Guard locking system and two 10-tumbler double bitted locks, the Model 344 is crafted to be easily hidden under the seats with chamfered corners while also providing plenty of room to store firearms or other valuables. Further protecting the stored items is the 16-gauge steel which comprises the box and an optional three-digit combination lock for keyless entry.

Lockboxes which fit under all three rear seats limit the driver’s ability to haul taller items in the backseat or utilize the optional OEM subwoofer. By creating a lockbox which fits under just two of the seats, Tuffy leaves the rear passenger single seat free to be lifted so taller items can be transported when needed or leave that space available for a subwoofer.

“Customers asked us to create a smaller underseat lockbox for several different models. At Tuffy, we recognize that pickup products are not one-size-fits-all, so we created the Model 344 specifically for the Ford F-Series SuperCrew pickups,” said Chip Olson, marketing director for Tuffy Security Products. “The Model 344 joins the Model 340 which was designed to fit 2007 to 2018 Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra crew cab trucks, and we’re currently developing a model for Toyota trucks as well.”

Fitting under the driver’s side and middle rear seats of the pickup, the lockbox is secured to the vehicle using the company’s innovative mounting system which is accessed from inside the box itself. Model 344 lockboxes include the mounting system which consists of two 16-gauge steel brackets which attach to the back of the box and extend under the seat to the rear of the vehicle. The no-drill installation uses the vehicle’s factory hardware and can be secured to the pickup in under 15 minutes. Simply unlock the box and use the wing knob nuts to install or remove the box.

TUFFY SECURITY PRODUCTS RELEASES 2007-2018 CHEVY SILVERADO, GMC SIERRA CREW CAB REAR SEAT LOCKBOX

CORTEZ, Colo. – Tuffy Security Products has released a new high-security lockbox specially designed to fit under the rear bench seat of 2007 to 2018 Chevy Silverado Crew Cab and GMC Sierra Crew Cab pickups. The company is currently designing the lockbox to fit under the 60-percent rear seats of Ford F-150 trucks as well.

Tuffy’s new Model 340 offers 2,100 cubic inches of storage and fits under the driver’s side and middle rear seats of the pickup, leaving some space available under the rear passenger side seat. Items 35 inches and shorter fit into the box with ease. Each lockbox is comprised of powder-coated 16-gauge welded steel and features chamfered corners to allow easier passenger access and a more concealed form. Model 340 lockboxes can also be customized by users with optional foam lining inserts.

The company’s patented Pry-Guard locking technology protects the contents of the box from would-be thieves. Its 10-tumbler double-bitted locks can be opened from either side of the vehicle.

“At Tuffy, we design our products to be the ultimate in security, and we listen to what our customers need when they’re looking to protect their valuables,” said Chip Olson, marketing director for Tuffy Security Products. “A lot of our customers requested a product which could fit under just two of the rear seats rather than the full rear seat area, so our response was to develop the Model 340. Any of our Silverado and Sierra Crew Cab customers can purchase this and use up less space under the rear seat and still have plenty of storage room within the lockbox to secure anything they want to protect.”

Tuffy’s Model 340 is installed without drilling by fastening to the original equipment seat bolts using the included mounting system comprised of two 16-gauge steel brackets which affix to the back of the box and extend to the rear of the vehicle under the seat. The innovative mounting system developed by Tuffy Security Products allows users to remove the box from the vehicle from inside the box itself when unlocked by using the wing knob nuts.

TUFFY SECURITY PRODUCTS OFFERS REAR UNDER-SEAT SECURITY SOLUTIONS FOR FORD F-SERIES EXTENDED, CREW CAB TRUCKS

CORTEZ, Colo. – Tuffy Security Products, a leading manufacturer of secure storage for serious gear, offers three under-seat security boxes specifically for late model Ford F-Series trucks with Extended or Crew Cabs.  These boxes are designed to accept long guns or other long items of sensitive tactical security gear used by law enforcement personnel.

Built to the same very high standards as other Tuffy Products security boxes, the under-seat boxes install using existing OEM mounting holes, and do not interfere with passenger comfort.  The full-width boxes match the factory spilt seat design, with access from the short (right) side or long (left) side of the seat.  Chamfered front corners allow easy access to the seat release levers, and provide unimpeded passenger access.  Tuffy’s stealthy design keeps the boxes and their sensitive contents from prying eyes. These boxes install quickly without drilling the floor pan. An innovative mounting system allows an officer to easily remove an Under Rear Seat Lockbox when the lids are unlocked without the need for tools.  Optional foam inserts, carpeted liners and Auto-On LED interior lighting can be added to these products for convenience and to cushion and protect the contents.

The Ford F-Series Under Rear Seat Lockboxes offer a significant amount of storage space.  The SuperCab (extended cab) Model 319 (2015-up F-150, 250, 350, 450, 550) delivers over 3000 cubic inches (over 49,161 cc) of space, while the Model 316 for Super Crew Cabs provides over 4500 cu. in. (over 73,743 cc).  Model 309 fits Ford F-250, 350 and 450 model years 2003-2016, and have 2170 cu. in. (35,560 cc) of storage space.

The under-seat boxes are made of 16-gauge, black textured powder coated steel, featuring welded tab-loc construction.  It features a pick-resistant 10-tumbler double-bitted lock with Tuffy Security Products’ Pry-Guard patented locking system to deter theft. The Pry-Guard latch mechanism allows the cover to shut without being locked, with exceptional strength compared to other latches with 1/8-inch (3.18 mm) thick metal components and a welded steel striker.  The Tuffy Under Rear Seat Lockboxes for the Ford F-Series trucks use a Pin-Lock hinge and a built-in lid stop for added security.  Additionally, the lids feature 100 percent weather seals around the perimeter to combat moisture and dust intrusion.
