The Tuffy Products consoles deliver an increased level of security for the factory consoles with minimal modifications, while maintaining the factory styling. The Tuffy designs allow full functional use of the factory accessory trays, armrests and lids.
The heart of the Security Console safes is the heavy-duty, 16-gauge welded steel construction, and a pick-resistant 10-tumbler double-bitted lock. Tuffy Security Products’ exclusive Pry-Guard patented locking system is a deterrent to theft. The Pry-Guard latch mechanisms are made from 1/8” (0.3175 cm) thick high-strength steel, and includes premium-quality, full perimeter built-in weather seals to control moisture and dust intrusion.
All console safes feature a durable texture black powder coat finish. They offer from 300+ cu. in. to 1,400+ cu. in. (over 4,900+ to 22,942+ cc) of interior storage space, and feature an exclusive lid support, which keeps the lid open while accessing contents, plus integrated bump stops for soft lid closures. The Security Console safe lids include a built-in external accessory tray to keep convenience items within easy reach when the lid is closed. Several designs allow the factory accessory tray to nest into the lid.
These safes are ready to install in just a few minutes without drilling, using only simple hand tools.
