This full console replaces the OEM unit with a lockable upgrade in heavy-duty welded cold-rolled steel, secured by the patented Pry-Guard II anti-twist push-button locking system, the original and most secure lock system in our line-up. Its push-button latch stays closed even when it is not locked, and a 10-tumbler double-bitted security key with built-in weather seals controls access. That gives you real Jeep Wrangler TJ security and storage for tools, electronics, phones, and other valuables. It keeps your factory subwoofer or accepts an 8-inch aftermarket speaker behind a 6½-inch grill cut-out, and it delivers 2½ times more storage than the OEM console. The Black console body wears a durable textured powder-coat finish, and inside you get a marine-grade vinyl padded armrest in Charcoal Gray, front and rear oversized drink holders with anti-rattle rubber drink fingers, a weather-resistant lid with a built-in lid stop, and a front console for the levers. It mounts to factory holes with the included Grade 8 hardware, though some drilling may be required, and a suspension or body lift that changed shift-lever height means the shift lever must be modified. Pair it with the TJ speaker and storage lockbox set or a TJ cargo security drawer to lock down the rest of your rig, all from Tuffy, the original since 1989.
